Matthew Ioannidis is an American football defensive tackle for the Washington Football Team of the National Football League (NFL).
Matt Ioannidis was born on January 11， 1994， in Marlton， Evesham， New Jersey， United States. He was brought up in the Ringoes section of Raritan Township and had attended Hunterdon Central Regional High School.
Matt Ioannidis is the middle child of three boys and his brothers are Andrew and Kevin. He attended and played college football at Temple University from 2012 to 2015. Matt Ioannidis was selected by the Washington Redskins in the fifth round， 152nd overall， in the 2016 NFL Draft.
Matt Ioannidis was waived by the Redskins on September 3， 2016， but re-signed with their practice squad a day later. He made his NFL debut on September 25， 2016， against the New York Giants. He is married to Caitlynn Mundell and they have one child together.
