Samburu Game Lodge
Established in 1962, Samburu Game Lodge has a long history in the Samburu National Reserve. The lodge is on the banks of the Ewaso Nyiro River, and looks out on the crocodile filled river.

There are 61 en~suite rooms, made up of 42 standard, 5 riverfront, 2 junior suites and 12 cottages. The standard rooms are close to the lodge and the swimming pool, while the more spacious riverfront rooms have an exclusive front porch on the river. The junior suit balcony and include a dressing room. The cottages with interconnecting rooms, suit families or groups. One cottage is equipped for guests with disabilities.
The main dining area overlooks the river. The Crocodile Bar, on the banks, views the spot where crocodiles are fed every evening. The vulturine Baris perched among the trees and juts out over the river. The Pool Bar serves snacks and drinks at the poolside.
Activities include game drives, game walks and cultural visits to Samburu villages. Birdlife is abundant, and bird watching is recommended‘ Eseriahi Spa, meaning place of peace in Samburu, offers treatments including aromatherapy massage and body scrub, and also contains a Jacuzzi.
