Joseph Riddick “Rick” Hendrick III was born in 1949 on July 12 to Joseph Hendrick Jr. and Mary Hendrick in North Carolina, America.
Hendrick grew up on the farm of his family. He was fond of cars and used to troubleshoot and diagnose cars. He started Drag Racing at the age of 14 in a self-made Chevrolet.
