Nigerian Armed Forces: Requirements for NDA Direct Short Service Recruitment

In this post, I will briefly what you what DSS means and how to apply which automatically means meeting up the requirements for NDA DSS.

Young boys and girls who for one reason or the other couldn’t make it into the Nigerian Defence Academy usually opt for DSSC (Direct Short Service Course) immediately after graduating from tertiary institutions like the University, Polytecncs and the likes

The DSSC is a 9 month intensive military training for professionals drawn from various disciplines to serve as officers in the non-combat services of the Army, Navy and the Air Force. They are not combatant personnel, they are trained mostly for administrative purposes in the force.

Don’t get it twisted, they grow in ranks too but have limits, they cannot get to the highest level of the force except the NDA graduates that passes through the norma 4 to 5 years in NDA pending on the course.

See the list of available courses in the Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA) Direct Short Service Course (DSSC) and requirements.
