Howard Allen Stern is the son of Ray and Ben, and they gave birth to him in 1954 as the second child in New York City. The father was in the army, and the mother was a therapist.
Stern went to Washington Rose Elementary school, and upon completing it, he joined Roosevelt Junior-senior high school.
