Green List Countries On UK Traffic Light System For Travel
The UK considers a person to be traveling to or arriving from a Green list country if they do not transit or travel through an Amber or a Red list country. Rules for green list countries no longer apply if a passenger has been to or traveled through an amber or red list country 10 days before their arrival in England. In such a case, you need to follow the rules for the highest risk country or territory that you have been in or passed through in the previous 10 days. That can include transit stops.
Before traveling to England from a green list country, you must take a COVID-19 test 3 days before your arrival, book and pay for a day 2 COVID-19 test to be taken after arrival, and complete a passenger locator form. After arrival in England, you must take a COVID-19 test on or before day 2. If you will be in England for less than 2 days you still need to book and pay for a day 2 COVID-19 test. You only need to take the test if you are still in England on day 2. Children aged 4 and under do not need to take this test.
Persons arriving from green list countries are not required to quarantine unless the test result is positive or NHS Test & Trace informs you that you traveled to England with someone who has tested positive for COVID-19.
